Win $100 in Cold Hard Cash

To gain entries into the contest, just do any of the following:
- Make a comment of value (not just “i agree”, etc.) on a post = 1 entry (remember to comment on all blogs)
- Subscribe to RSS via email = 2 entries (per blog you subscribe to!)
- Write a post about the contest on your blog (must include a link to this page and the links below to participating blogs) = 25 entries
You can take the short route by simply making a comment in this thread, and you can also comment on all the other participating blogs’ contest threads and increase your chances exponentially. You can also subscribe to each individual blog in the contest group’s RSS feed to gain a steeper advantage. However, the most ambitious of you will do all of the above, plus write a post about this contest on your own blog. If you’re going to post about this contest, just grab the image and code from here.
The deadline for this contest is 12:00 AM March 1, 2008.

Hello Jason, I’d seen this post on JoeTech but hadn’t payed much attention to it. But then I saw it on your blog and thought why not enter it. And so I’ve posted about the contest on my Blog, http://gamingx.x10hosting.com/blog. I’ve subscribed to the RSS feed by mail and then I’ve written a comment on your ‘Big Bang’ Blog. Just wanted to ask one more question, if I subscribe to the others blogs how will my entries be calculated? And will each of my comment after this carry an entry with it?

Allow me to jump in and answer (since I happen to be awake and reading this).
Every comment of value on all the blogs listed above in this post will count for entries. As well, you get entries for each blog you subscribe to via email. Each of the blogs listed above is responsible for gathering all their entries, which are then all put together and a random winner is drawn from that.

OK. Here’s the first of my comments, but I’m also posting the contest on Bowl of Cheese.
My main question is how does the code get updated to list our own sites if we’re participating in the listing (e.g. do we put our address down the bottom as we go forward?)
Or does that not happen because we - as blog writers and participants - are not really giving anything to the $100 prize.
