You are too hard on yourself, my friend. You write well and you’re always interesting. Different people like different things and each day those same people like something different again!

I hear myself in you! There’s no money, it’s all about the passion for “talking” to people. I too stepped away from the overload and got burned out. It’s tough, but I love it.

All I know is that I latched on to you right way and subscribed to your feed. When I recently got one of those feed emails about a new post my reaction was, “Jason! Wonder why I haven’t been getting these.” Now I know and totally understand. Glad you’re back and glad you’re saying the things some of us don’t want to admit.

I faced the same problem as you as far as being too unfocused in my blog. I wrote about whatever interested me and got “rewarded” with 30 hits a day.
Then I started doing series, I different topic each day. Shut up Stupid Sunday – where I debunk stuff, Evil Minion Monday – I post pictures of cats, Temper Tantrum Tuesday – where I say whatever is on my mind, Writing Wednesday – Where I shamelessly promote my writing, Fantastic Future Friday – where I talk about science.
I immediately shot up to over 100 hits a day.

This is a great blog and very insightful to say the least. Don’t forget,

That’s great. Congrats! Ours hasn’t quite got used to crawling–I’m sure she’ll be into everything very soon though. She plays around on her belly, but she much prefers her bouncing play toy. She can be in that thing for hours.

At the moment our “baby” is sleeping again. He will be in 10 days 11 months young. I guess yours is also crawling around already.

Our boy is exploring now everything in our apartment especially cables, cupboards and all things on which he can “climb” up to stand.

you have already two years behind you, i started last month with my second year blogging and it can be really tough when you want to write daily one or two articles. But until now it worked even with Burn-out-syndrome in the air (then my wife has to write a post for our Baby-Blog ).

You and I are so much alike in so many ways that one would think we are brothers. I have many of the same problems you do with blogging. I have to work at getting articles out and creating a blog image that pushes the limits of who I am really. This is a good post. I applaud you for continuing to persevere.
