I get also good traffic from SU, but it makes me to have a high bounce rate.

Thanks for the mention and the compliment. I have had SU traffic come in waves, some smaller than others. But some have given me more hits than the initial Stumble. I’ve been meaning to try out Spott also. I have an account just haven’t dealt with it yet.

I’ve had decent traffic from it. I took a look at my account with them to find out just how well it does.

It appears I receive between 2-5 clicks a day through their service. I’m getting around 500 impressions also, so that’s not a terrific click through rate. However, I think it’s done a lot better than BlogRush ever did. I’ve received 44 clicks since starting with Spottt a few weeks ago.

I’m going to continue using the service for the simple fact that trickle traffic is better than no traffic. If a better alternative comes along, I’ll give that a shot.

I’m interested Jason to know what kind of luck you’re having with Spott….I’ve heard nothing good about it and got rid of it fairly quickly myself after having some issues with it. I also see the blog rush widget here and have the same kinds of questions. Just curious I guess more than anything else. I still love your site arrangement and general feel/navigation. It’s just aesthetically pleasing to me….peace and keep up the good work!

Thanks for the insight, Andrew. I am trying to build up my friends list on StumbleUpon. I’ve also heard that it pays to stumble what your friends have, since it gives them more authority.

Hey Bill. I love your site. You have really great articles and a clear sense of direction. It’s why I subscribed to your feed a while back. Keep up the good work.

It’s cool that the traffic can rise back up like that. I’ve only been live since early January so I haven’t seen any activity like that. I do have one post that still receives around 10 stumblers or so stumblers occassionally. I suppose this is due to those stumlbers giving me the thumbs up.

Stumble will die down but the great thing is that I have had some of my posts that were big 3 months ago….suddenly come back to life and get another wave of stumblers.

It’s a traffic source that can keep on giving. I am still only about 3 months old so I don’t know how long that phenomenom will last but hopefully it doesn’t stop.

Hey Jason, I really appreciate the mentions StumbleUpon has been great for another one of my sites. One article really hit the “jackpot” and I got over 100K visits to the submitted article in 1 month. For AndrewPavelski.com, it gets me a traffic boost, but no articles have really “taken off.” I think what really helps is adding “like-minded” stumblers as friends. My other blog is a different niche and I have made mostly friends pertaining to that specific niche. So when I happen to stumble articles from Andrew Pavelski, they probably aren’t as interesting to my SU buddies.

As far as dying down, I honestly don’t know what makes SU traffic die down, but it eventually does. I don’t still get 100 K visitors a month to my other blog, but it did help make people more aware, increase RSS, etc. and I still get a significant amount of daily views.

Glad to hear your article is doing well Jason. Keep up the great work here @ Jason Boom !
